Walking Fort Collins

It’s easy to feel disconnected these days.

We speed past homes where lives unfold behind closed doors. We drive by parks, murals, trees, and small moments of beauty — barely noticing what we live among.

Since COVID, my world has quietly shrunk. I work from home. I order groceries. Entire weeks go by where I barely step outside.

Walking Fort Collins is my personal challenge to change that. To slow down. To notice. To connect.

I'm setting out to walk every single street within the city limits — not for exercise or likes, but to get to know a city I claim to love, but only know on the surface.

Each week, I’ll document the journey through videos, photos, and an evolving interactive map. You’ll see what I see: the neighborhoods, trails, textures, and hidden corners that make Fort Collins what it is.

Once I’ve walked it all — every cul-de-sac and corner — I hope to turn what I’ve gathered into something meaningful. A gift back to the community. A record of what you find when you choose to look.
